Job Summary
Reporting to the Sales Support Director and supporting Med-Eng Sales Directors, Territory Managers and Channel Partners, the Sales Support Coordinator provides a key link and a single point of contact between our customers and the Med-Eng Team.
The Sales Support Coordinator is responsible for managing all purchase orders from order receipt to on time shipment. In addition, the Coordinator will also assist Sales Directors and Customers with product information, quotations, and support requests. Sales Support Coordinator utilizes Syspro and CRM systems to maintain accurate records and interfacing with customers to ensure we meets our customer expectations.
Essential Job Functions
  • Responsible for the timely and accurate booking, execution and on-time delivery of customer orders by:
  • Updating of orders to address customer PO changes
  • Communication of non-standard requirements
  • Maintenance of accurate line ship dates
  • Assessment, management and escalation of order impairments
  • Communication of changes to Production, Planning, Quality, Contracts, Sales, customers and the Program Manager as appropriate
  • Report weekly on potential revenue risk
  • Assist with generating sales quotations
  • Prepare necessary documentation package for Embassy and DEFAIT Notarization
  • Provide first level of support on all customer support requests using CRM and Syspro to assign request to the Product Line or to generate RMA
  • Assist with Non Standard Customer Requests (NSCR)
  • Provides input to identify opportunities for improvement or problem resolutions in customer relations
  • Address and escalate concerns and issues received from customers
  • Recommend and participate in policy and process improvements

Required Education
  • High School / Secondary School Degree
 Required Experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in a customer facing sales and/or service role

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Must possess excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively and work closely with numerous departments and stakeholders and all levels of management
  • Must have demonstrated a highly organized and detailed oriented work product
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize with tight deadlines required
  • Able to function efficiently in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to solve problems requiring independent thinking
  • Self-motivated, with the ability  to work independently
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Experience using CRM and ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics and Syspro
  • Formal experience in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or other discipline associated with International Commerce would be an asset
  • Competence in second language (in addition to English) would be a definite asset
